For the first time in SACC history, supported by the Swedish Embassy in the United States, acclaimed representatives of Swedish music & culture have been invited to present Swedish traditional and contemporary music at the SACC Summit.

The objective of adding music is to introduce top-notch Swedish music artists to Swedish companies, organizations, and communities in the United States and to American audiences, and to establish long-term mutual beneficial relationships with this business community. In collaboration with the Swedish Embassy in the United States, it will also create additional business opportunities in the future for broadening the awareness of and promoting Swedish cultural and music traditions in the United States.

The vision is to set a stage for kickstarting a new wave of Swedish Music Business promotion in 2022 as a renewed celebration of Swedish technology entrepreneurship and for giving credit to using modern technology for the presentation of music art.

It is not yet widely known in the U.S. that, according to Export Music Sweden, ”Sweden is one of the world’s most successful exporters of chart music ...” boosting ”... music export revenues from Sweden’s entire music industry and to support all of Sweden’s wide range of genres”, and according to a 2017 report by the Swedish Institute, ”Sweden is one of the leading pop-music nations today”.
