What 20 months at Scandinavian Airlines taught me by Bernard Otremba-Blanc

SACC Arizona and SWEA Professional invites you to an informal Happy Hour Speaker event to make new contacts and gain new insights.

This time we are lucky to have Dr. Bernard Otremba-Blanc to present to us. Dr. Otremba-Blanc is the previous Honorary Consul of Germany for Arizona.

He is also an experienced international business man. He has lived and worked in Denmark, England, France, Germany, Iran, the Netherlands, Sri Lanka and the United States. During an intense period at Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) in the 80s, he worked under the charismatic CEO Jan Carlzon. 

Mr Otemba-Blanc will talk about his personal experiences with:

•  SAS's international expansion plans under Jan Carlzon - and lessons for any growth focused company
•  My role in the plans of SAS Service Partners to become a global leader - and what you can learn from that journey
•  My experience with SAS in Scandinavia, Germany, Saudi Arabia and the Far East - how being able to straddle different cultures, strengthens your success.
